* Location: Medway (training period and occasional work from Medway and Crawley, but majority of time will be working from home)
* This is a 12-month secondment (internals)/Fixed term contract (externals)
* DBS Requirement: A DBS check will be required for anyone new to the Trust or for internal employees who have not needed a DBS for their role previously. The check will be done prior to interview.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will advocate for the Trust’s vision of continuous improvement by facilitating rigorous EOC audit and quality improvement projects.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Coordinate EOC audit activities and carry out ‘No-Send’ and ‘Clinical Tail’ audits to identify high-risk incidents requiring further investigation.
* Create a culture of continuous improvement and improve the effectiveness of processes within the team.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent experience. Evidence of continuing professional development.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of NHS Structures and data analysis software/computer systems.
* High level of computer literacy.
* Understanding of current government and NHS strategy and policy in respect of clinical governance, clinical effectiveness, and audit.
Experience
* Experience in a role involving data collection and analysis.
* Experience of providing routine and ad-hoc information reports.
* Knowledge and experience within the NHS and understanding of NHS systems and data formats.
Skills
* Ability to present information logically and concisely both verbally and in writing, including report writing.
* Ability to interpret data from various sources and present it clearly.
* Ability to create and maintain databases tailored to team needs.
Personal Qualities
* Able to work under own initiative or as part of a team.
* Highly organised, paying attention to both the big picture and detail.

Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants will be placed at the bottom of the banding unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.
