Vocational Trainer - Apprenticeships and Skills Department
We are looking for an inspirational Vocational Trainer to take on an exciting new role within our Apprenticeships and Skills Department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Train and assess learners up to Level 3, in the workplace and classroom.
2. Support learner progress through assessment in the workplace and curriculum delivery.
3. Ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
4. Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons in line with college policies.
Key Person Specification Requirements:
1. Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
2. PGCE or willingness to work towards.
3. Industry relevant qualifications to a minimum of Level 3 (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
4. Registered with GDC.
5. Minimum of 2 years industry experience working in Dentistry.
6. Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
7. This role will be based across multiple sites; therefore, a full current driving licence, use of a car, and insurance for business purposes are essential.
8. Enhanced DBS check.
