Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic Project Support Officer to join the Sussex Mental Health Inpatient Transformation Programme. The role, as a fixed term contract for 12 months, will support the Trust to implement the new Inpatient Strategic Plan.
Main duties of the job
The Project Support Officer will provide essential administrative, coordination, and support functions to assist the Project Manager in the successful delivery of projects. This role will ensure that project activities are well-organised, deadlines are met, and documentation is accurate and up to date.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C GCSE LEVEL 9-4)
* Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an Administrative environment
* Evidence of ongoing CPD activity
Knowledge/Experience
* Experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within a project or programme environment
* Knowledge of project management frameworks and tools such as PRINCE2, Agile, or similar
* Understanding of project management principles and the ability to support the delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
* Experience in using software and tools for project tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
* Experience of preparing clear and concise documentation
