A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a Residential Children's Home for Children with Learning Disabilities for a Waking Night Support Worker to join their team near Folkestone. This opportunity is working for a great company who truly value the children in their care as well as their staff team. They aim to provide a safe, homely environment for the children in their care and to help them to live fulfilling lives. Your role will be to undertake the role of Waking Night Support Worker by completing and maintaining administrative records as required by the organisation. Undertaking all mandatory training requirements and additional training and development tasks identified as required by your line manager. Attend and participate in supervision, appraisals and staff meetings. Follow Fire and Health and Safety Procedures at your place of work and report any unsafe practices and conditions to the Health and Safety Officer and Carry out duties in line with the organisation's policies and procedures. Experience working with children and young people in a residential home is desirable but not essential It is essential that you hold or be prepared to gain a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. Three nights one week, four nights the next on rotation. A competitive salary is offered.
