My client is an end user looking for an ERP Finance System Support Consultant to support Dynamics AX 2012 and D365, managing relationships between the client, their internal customers, and the third-party implementers of Dynamics AX. The role will include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support, managing service requests, providing and documenting resolutions, testing new developments, and maintaining the Support portal. Other responsibilities will include:
* Supporting current AX 2012 and upcoming D365 implementation.
* Being the contact point for all initial queries on AX, filtering usage problems from system issues, and raising and escalating issues with suppliers.
* Supporting all functions across the business to document, replicate, and resolve AX incidents while liaising with users.
* Creating knowledge base articles and process documentation for products, known issues, and workarounds, ensuring these are reviewed and maintained.
My client is looking for someone with the following experience:
* Experience with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and D365.
* Understanding of business processes and support issues in Finance.
* Experience in Org Admin and System Administration, including Workflow and Security roles.
My client specifically seeks someone with a finance background, as this role will involve finance-related support with opportunities for a consultant role depending on the candidate's capability. They ideally want someone with a finance degree/ ACCA/CIMA qualification and AX/D365 experience, even if it's for a few years.
