About the Role
Our client is looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils during lunchtime, fostering a positive and enjoyable dining and playtime experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise children during lunch breaks, both in the dining hall and playground.
* Encourage positive play and social interactions among pupils.
* Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
* Assist with setting up and tidying the lunch area.
* Promote good table manners and healthy eating habits.
* Manage minor first aid incidents and report any concerns to senior staff.
What Our Client is Looking For:
* A friendly, approachable, and patient manner.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* A responsible and caring attitude towards children.
* Previous experience working with children (preferred but not essential).
* Ability to promote positive behaviour and handle minor conflicts effectively.
* A commitment to safeguarding and child protection (successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check).
