Specifically they deal in plastics which they mainly get from the UK and Europe but sell to hundreds of customer across 50 countries. This particular position can be split into thirds. 1/3 customer experience, 1/3 logistics and the final 1/3 commercial. Your team will be responsible for making sure the customer and supplier experience runs as smoothly as possible. Logistics, youll be responsible for shifting a serious volume of plastics. in July youre talking approx. 800 tonnes. You need to look at improving existing working procedures to maximise efficiency while saving costs where you can. The Lisburn site has 19 with 8 reporting directly to you. This role reports directly to the MD. What would you need to succeed? Senior management experience in a distribution, trucking, ocean freight, import/export, freight forwarding, or trading business. Creating and leading high-performance teams. Excellent problem-solving ability. Experience of process improvement. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
