Job Title: Lead Project Professional
Salary: £45,628+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Build strong stakeholder relationships by effectively influencing internal teams, clients, suppliers, and partners
* Lead and develop high-performing teams, including managing direct reports or assembling teams to support key activities
* Mentor and guide graduates and trainees, supporting their professional development and growth
* Oversee cost tracking and expenditure, including coordinating the procurement of specialist services and resources
* Manage third-party service providers, ensuring end-to-end delivery of facilities management tasks on behalf of the business
* Act swiftly in response to emergencies or urgent issues, taking appropriate action and managing outcomes
* Ensure quality and compliance by verifying that work completed by staff or contractors meets agreed standards and addressing any deficiencies
Your skills and experiences:
* Proven experience in managing third-party vendors and service providers
* Background in Facilities Management, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control; may have managed smaller budgets as part of larger projects
* Familiarity with SAP systems
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health & safety qualification
The Area Landlord Management team:
Join a dynamic site and facilities team responsible for delivering facilities management (FM) support across a diverse portfolio of buildings. Our core mission is to ensure tenant-occupied spaces remain safe, legally compliant, and aligned with regulatory standards. We also work closely with tenants to help them meet their own facility-related responsibilities. The role primarily involves supporting compliance through the delivery of minor facility improvement projects. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to both office environments and production facilities, including supporting the Nuclear Build team. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
