We are recruiting individuals to work closely with those who have challenging behaviours and social/emotional difficulties.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide opportunities to progress academically, socially, and emotionally
2. Lead by example as a role model
3. Lead sports and activity sessions
4. Understand individuals' personalities and needs
5. Offer guidance and mentoring
6. Have an understanding/interest in sports
7. Provide a safe environment to learn
8. Deal with any challenging or disruptive behaviour
9. Offer advice and support
10. Develop self-confidence, positive self-image, and independence
11. Be fully compliant with safeguarding policies and procedures
The environment of this SEMH School is unlike that of a mainstream school as it is much more nurturing, pastoral, student-focused, and personal, giving you the chance to really have an impact and create a relationship with the students.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with children in any professional setting
2. Experience working in care or with vulnerable people if you don't have the above
3. Sports background
4. A strong personality
5. Ability to attain a reference from working with children or care
