Our client is a multinational manufacturer/distributor based in Western Sydney, specialising in high-quality finished goods with operations around the globe. The business needs an innovative Procurement professional to streamline and improve processes.
Job Description
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for finished goods.
2. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and analyse market trends.
3. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and compliance.
4. Analyse procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
5. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
6. Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with overall business strategy.
9. Manage procurement projects from initiation to completion.
The Successful Applicant
1. Proven experience in direct Procurement, particularly in dealing with finished goods.
2. Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
