Printing Technician
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
£12.50 per hour
Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm (some flexibility with start/end times)
Our client who is a leading printing solutions organisation within the aerospace, automotive, consumer products and health care sectors are seeking to recruit a 3D Printing Technician to join their workforce in Aylesbury.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain in house SLA and 3D printers.
* Unloading of finished jobs from printers.
* Inspect/quality control and pack printed parts.
* Manage post 3D print production - remove supports, wash/cure, sand.
* Prepare printers for next job.
* Packing sample parts for shipment.
* Daily upkeep of working areas.
* Performing equipment maintenance tasks.
* Organising waste materials for disposal.
* Potential for project-based activities, working individually and frequently as part of a team.
Skills and Requirements
* Previous experience operating 3D printers is desirable but not required.
* Active interest in 3D printing.
* Follow safety practises and wear full protective gear.
* Experience or interest in painting and finishing
* Excellent practical ability and hands-on skills
* Inquisitive and natural desire to learn.
* Very high attention to detail
* Naturally works in a very tidy and ordered manner.
* Methodical and organised approach to tasks
* Demonstrate initiative with a flexible and adaptive approach.
* Great team player with a "can do" attitude.
* Good communication skills

* Model making
* RC vehicles
* 3D Printing
* Computer Aided Design (CAD)
* Wood or Metalworking
* Car maintenance / tinkering
