The MRC Epidemiology Unit is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Statistical Genetics.
This position is based in the Unit's 'early life aetiology and mechanisms' team, led by Professors John Perry and Ken Ong. The primary role of this post is to lead human genetics projects within the Healthy Reproductive Ageing (HERA) study, an exciting, innovative, cross-institution research programme, funded by the Wellcome Trust.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Statistical Genetics or a related discipline. Applicants will have proven skills analysing human genetics in large-scale population datasets.
The role can be performed as a hybrid position; the number of days in the office can be negotiated but the expectation is at least 3 days every week.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 4 years in the first instance.
