An exciting opportunity as a Data and Systems Administrator has become available to join the team at Carnoustie Golf Links as part of the Systems and IT team at our world-famous golf course.
This is a permanent position where the successful applicant will work 35 hours a week, 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
This is a vital support role working under the direction of our IT Business Partner, that would be ideal for someone starting their IT journey and would suit an IT Graduate who is excited to learn. An IT related qualification is preferred.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Maintain IT Asset Register
2. Assist IT Risk register
3. Assist Annual penetration testing / Gap analysis
4. Assist with Group policy rollout
5. Assist audit/ analysis of email filter rules
6. Assist with the maintenance and compliance of the company IT policy
7. IT Ticketing system
8. End user education/awareness
9. Assist with legislation audit and gap analysis
10. Assist on infrastructure upgrades
11. Data register
12. Review data back up
13. Cloud migration
14. Data integration enhancement
15. Database/data capture enhancement
16. Data visualisation
The ideal candidate should have great attention to detail, numeracy skills and have methodical and pragmatic organisational skills. Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, whilst possessing Strong IT skills, and relevant experience in computer science or similar IT related degree.
