Foxborough Primary School in Slough is a one form entry inclusive school that prides itself on its dedication to ensuring every child receives a first-class education and achieves their full potential. Starting in Sept 2024, we have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and energetic teaching assistant with specific autism experience to join our friendly team and our new specialist resource. Our school is guided by our core principles: Responsibility, Open-mindedness, Challenge, Kindness.
The postholder will undertake the role of supporting learners in their development in both academic and social achievements. Working closely with the school’s SENCo and SEND Teacher, this provision will be strategically managed enabling pupils with SEND to benefit from the environment and carefully planned learning opportunities. You will need to demonstrate a calm, professional approach to learning, with growth mindset strategies in place. There may be occasions where you would be working in the mainstream setting.
The most recent OFSTED inspection (2019) graded the school as ‘Good’ and the school's recent ungraded inspection (November 2024) suggests that the school's work may have improved significantly across all areas since the previous inspection.

Our mission is grounded on four core values which our schools embrace:
* we pioneer: by preparing the way for others to follow, we transcend barriers through aspiration, merit and risk. Pioneer engenders determination, commitment and responsibility to better society through education and learning, never accepting mediocrity
* we inspire collaboration: we believe in working in partnership. In a culture of high trust and intelligent risk-taking, collaboration exists at all levels and between all stakeholders
* we invest intelligently: by providing high-quality professional development for all staff and a positive and enriching work environment. We provide high support and challenge that enables all colleagues to flourish
* we consciously liberate: providing equal access to an outstanding education is central to the aims of the Trust. The Trust champions the vulnerable and disadvantaged, breaking down barriers to learning.
