We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Manager/Project Manager to join our team and oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities, while also managing key projects aimed at improving efficiency and infrastructure.
Job Overview:
The Facilities Manager/Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our facilities across our Central London portfolio and will play a pivotal role in planning and executing various projects related to facility maintenance, upgrades, and construction. This individual will coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations, reporting directly to the Co Founder and Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:Facilities Management:
* Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and safety systems.
* Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations, while keeping the H&S records up to date.
* Coordinate and manage vendor relationships for services such as cleaning, landscaping, security, and waste management.
* Implement cost-effective strategies for energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding building codes, health, and safety standards.
Project Management:
* Manage facility-related projects from inception to completion, including renovations, repairs, and new installations.
* Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
* Lead the selection and management of contractors and vendors, ensuring quality control and compliance with contracts.
* Monitor progress on ongoing projects, ensuring they stay on track and within budget.
* Conduct post-project reviews to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
* Respond to facility-related emergencies or incidents and ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in facilities management, project management, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
* Proven experience in managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities.
* Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding building operations and safety.
* PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certifications are a plus.
