Job Description

Our Global Supply Chain team (~115 employees) ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging, and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the right place, at the right time. With 16 FTE, the Regional Operations Team (based in Europe, LATAM, APSA, and the US) is accountable for maintaining and improving a good Supply Chain Performance for 800 products, +/-20 Production Sites, and +/- 50 Sales Companies.
Purpose of the role
Under the direction of our Director Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) in EURAM, you are responsible for evaluating supply and demand through data analysis in partnership with Commercial, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain colleagues. You will be acting as a Supply Chain Management point of contact for manufacturing sites in Europe and engage in site supply management and issue escalation with appropriate stakeholders across the 24-month horizon. You will partner closely with mainly our manufacturing sites, its Site Directors, Site Planners, Manufacturing Leads, our Commercial organization, and the GSCM Regional Market leads on demand and supply, ensuring cross-species and cross-product conflicts are resolved in the best interest of the business.
This role can be located in Boxmeer (NL), Unterschleissheim (DE), Salamanca (E), Milton Keynes (UK), or Igoville (F).
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
* Manages implementation of global and regional strategies and processes through proactive partnership with the sites.
* Links the site and/or represents the site in the integrated business planning (IBP) process, focusing on supply review, S&OE, and interface with site Tier accordingly.
* Supply issue communication/management within 0–24-month impact with our Commercial organization.
* Coordinates supply chain activities related to transfers (site-to-site and R&D to site), together with Transfer Task Force (TTF) team.
* Work with GSCM Business Process Team and site planning in local/regional SCM process roll out, management, and maintenance (i.e., Mid Term Planning MTP).
* Monitor and drive improvement initiatives in collaboration with the site, applying our in-house developed production system (MPS) principles to identify root causes and implement structural fixes to improve customer service or planning efficiency.
* Align with Value Chain Management (VCM) Team on regional requirements for product launches relative to site/market.
* Facilitate business cases, program rollouts, and strategy integration as required.
* Support Local/Regional 5YP and Assumption Based Review (ABR) Process, interface with Product VCM and GSCM Network Team.
Your profile:
* Degree in engineering, science, or technology required; an advanced degree or equivalent is desirable.
* Strong (>5 years) and relevant experience in supply chain management, operations, or related area as well as expertise in supply chain business processes.
* Demonstrated ability to influence others, especially those of peer groups, higher band levels, and outside of the immediate organization.
* A strong data-driven mindset and analytical skills, complemented by a proactive approach and the ability to simplify complex problems for diverse audiences, ensuring clear and concise communication.
* Excellent command of the English language.
* Living close to one of our Animal Health locations mentioned above and willing to travel up to 15% of your time.
