This Role: You will be reporting to the Team Leader, the Property Owners Broker is responsible for advising clients, researching the best market options, and managing all documentation to ensure policies are activated and premiums are paid promptly. Brokers are also expected to align with the company’s vision and contribute to business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Handle client accounts for New Business, Renewals, and Mid-Term Adjustments. Ensure timely premium collection and maintain comprehensive audit trails. Gather client requirements, research the market for suitable products, and provide tailored recommendations aligned with their needs. Achieve targets, KPIs, and objectives while adhering to operating procedures and FCA compliance regulations. Collect necessary client information, claims history, and negotiate competitive terms with insurers. Prepare and deliver renewal invitations in a timely manner. Maintain and enhance client relationships through regular communication and visits. Manage claims from initial reporting to resolution, negotiating settlements with insurers and loss adjusters. Actively chase claims progress to achieve the best outcome for clients. Follow documented claims processes to ensure efficient handling and compliance. About You: 2 years or more Insurance Knowledge with strengths in Property Owners & Commercial Property at a minimum Strong sales and client service skills, both face-to-face and via telephone. Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, Actuaris would be an advantage but not essential Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Target-driven with excellent time management and productivity skills. Confident negotiator with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
