YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?
You will immerse yourself in our renewables team working on wind, solar and battery storage projects in all stages of their lifecycle. You will:
1. Lead or support a variety of renewables projects of varying size and complexity ensuring they're delivered successfully, preferably with extensive experience in PV, onshore wind or BESS projects.
2. Problem solve with colleagues and clients to achieve the best technical solutions.
3. Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and act as an interface between engineering and environmental disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, maritime, planning, environmental etc).
4. Ensure designs, drawings, reports and other outputs are prepared, reviewed for quality and approved before issue to the client.
5. Train, supervise and review work of junior and middle level engineers, being responsible for the level of quality of their work.
6. Carry out client engagement activities including reviewing enquiries and preparing proposals for prospective projects.
7. Ensure business and project risks are identified, escalated, recorded and managed effectively.
8. Ensure project and bid processes and governance requirements are followed.
9. Build strong and effective relationships with clients and with your team, working together to achieve common goals.

2. You'll be part of an exciting and growing part of the business where you can make a real difference in the transition of the energy industry and journey towards net zero.
3. We are a growing team and this role will provide opportunities to develop your engineering and project management skills and work within multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of exciting and cutting edge projects.
4. Our teams are based in Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester and we provide hybrid and flexible working options based in all these locations.
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
1. Previous experience of project delivery in the renewables energy sector, preferably with experience in design, design review and technical due diligence analysis.
2. Good knowledge of the project lifecycle.
3. A degree in a relevant technical field, preferable a post-graduation in subjects related to the renewable energy sector.
4. Extensive experience of working with multidisciplinary teams.
5. Experience and understanding of stakeholder and client management.
6. Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
7. Experience of working collaboratively with clients, contractors and colleagues.
8. Experience with prospecting work via client engagement.
