Off the back of our continued success and unprecedented demand for our market leading, AI-powered customer and employee experience (cX & eX) solutions, we're looking for entrepreneurial, energetic, and success-driven Senior Business Development Managers to join the Social Housing or our Local Government Team within our Commercial arm of the business.
We are looking for a driven, ambitious and successful Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing new business sales team to sell our market leading Digital Transformation solutions to C-level executives across the public sector. The role will be fast-paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic, which will involve:
1. Managing the entire sales cycle from start to finish (cold call to close).
2. Researching companies and the industry to understand the relevant issues that are making companies uncertain about the decisions that they should be making, the challenges that they are facing, and the solutions that they need.
3. A desire to learn and to be able to communicate the VerseOne Group value proposition.
4. Presenting and demonstrating our solutions to C-level executives, building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, and negotiating complex agreements.
The ideal candidate will be a hungry and energetic sales professional looking to expand their sales career to the next level, joining a market leading company to offer an exciting career path. The successful candidates will have experience of selling complex software solutions and all of the sales soft skills and intangibles to be a successful new name sales professional.
Key requirements:
1. 3+ years b2b SaaS sales experience
2. Housing, Local Government or Public sector is preferable but not essential.
3. Proven successful sales experience of achieving targets.
4. Enjoy working and taking pride in achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a desire to chase down deals.
6. Ability to carry out the entire sales cycle (cold call, demonstrations, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and close)
7. Ability to work under pressure with a diligent and consistent work ethic.
8. An outgoing personality, determined attitude, good listening skills and a drive to be the best.
9. Must be PC literate, able to write professional business emails and compelling proposals.
10. Familiarity using CRM systems preferably SalesForce.
11. An understanding of selling to the public sector would be highly advantageous.
