About the role
We are looking for a skilled HR Advisor to support our locations across Scotland with expert guidance on both generalist and specialist HR matters. Working 9-5, Monday - Friday, this role involves working closely with management to address performance issues, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a positive work environment. You will also support employee relations cases, deliver training, and drive engagement across the business.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing HR advice and support to managers on a range of people-related issues.
* Handling employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and TUPE.
* Developing and implementing training programs to support staff development.
* Ensuring HR policies and procedures align with current employment legislation.
* Collaborating with leadership to enhance employee engagement and performance.
About you
You are a well-organised professional with strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You must be an excellent communicator, can build relationships at all levels and provide clear, confident HR advice. You thrive on being out in the business, actively engaging with teams and management to drive positive change. Confident in challenging the status quo, you are comfortable working with managers of varying experience levels and can adapt your approach accordingly.
You have at least three years of HR experience and are CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it). A full driving licence and the flexibility to travel across Scotland are essential for this role. You take a diligent and safety-conscious approach to your work, always adhering to policies, procedures, and standards. Additionally, you are a team player who fits in well with the wider HR team, attending meetings, training sessions, and taking on tasks that contribute to the success of the business.
