The role of Financial Planning & Systems Accountant provides central finance and system support across all the G’s Fresh pillars. The role will have a focus on data and systems this role will drive consistency and standardisation to reporting. Lead on the use of Cognos to drive consistency and standardisation into product KPIs for all G’s Fresh pillars. Support the pillar teams in the development of Grower Returns outputs from Cognos, building consistency in internal reporting for Fresh Management Teams and the necessary tailoring of outputs for the Grower Base. Support pillar teams with the Grower Returns issue resolution process, including the fixing and control of scanning traceability errors and the on-going maintenance of JDE master data necessary to ensure accuracy in the system. Support with the reconciliation between returns data to the trial balance and develop COGNOS reporting to monitor. Assist in the implementation of automated grower returns posting into JDE financials. Coordinate and support sales and profit forecasting across all pillars. Coordinate and support with budget preparation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of budgets/forecasts in COGNOS supporting all pillars where required. Assist with group reporting requirements and the implementation of new reporting timetables, including the developments planned in COGNOS. Support in the completion of growers returns documentation and process mapping. Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required. Knowedge, Skills and Abilities Experienced accountant with a bias towards data and systems. Problem solving mindset. Experience working with big reporting systems such as COGNOS or similar and familiarity with Data Warehouses. Proficient in Excel.
