Key Stakeholders: Director of Operations Head of Operational Transformation Change leads Outsource partners Commercial Leads (Directors and Heads of) Heads of across Group Operations and Leadership team Job Description Summary of role The Innovation Lead will support a tribe of operational colleagues in running proof of concepts (PoCs) to test and learn various initiatives to show which provide the biggest cost or margin benefits to the business. This role is pivotal in identifying opportunities, trialling new technologies, and embedding successful initiatives into the wider operational teams. The Innovation Lead will work closely with change and transformation leads to ensure seamless integration and demonstrate return on investment. Role and Responsibilities Lead Proof of Concepts: Guide and support operational teams in designing, executing, and evaluating PoCs to identify beneficial initiatives. Collaborate with Change Leads: Work alongside change and transformation leads to embed successful initiatives and ensure smooth transitions. Identify Opportunities: Spot and evaluate new technologies and processes that could benefit the organization. Demonstrate ROI: Develop metrics and methods to measure the success of initiatives and clearly communicate the ROI to stakeholders. Leadership: Provide strong leadership to inspire and motivate the team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through effective coaching. Change Methodologies: Apply and adapt change management methodologies to ensure successful implementation of new initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather insights, gain buy-in, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Essential Skills Proven experience in leading innovation initiatives and managing PoCs. Strong understanding of change management methodologies, particularly in a call centre environment. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to identify and evaluate new technologies and processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to demonstrate ROI. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to document processes clearly and concisely.
