As Marketing Manager for Lancaster Online, you will join a team of marketing and recruitment professionals tasked with recruiting and supporting high-calibre applicants to study with Lancaster University. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing effective digital marketing communications strategies to target specific global regions, working with colleagues to develop existing markets and identify new and emerging opportunities, as well as supporting communications for current distance learning students. You will ensure that our brand and reputation is articulated appropriately for distance learning students, maximising the core benefits narrative to raise awareness amongst target markets and their influencers, to elicit action for lead generation and conversion. This position requires knowledge of brand messaging, communications channels and multi-targeted digital marketing strategies. Working directly with the Head of Portfolio Marketing and the leadership team for Lancaster Online, which encompasses our distance learning degrees, online professional and short programmes and free taster massive open online courses (MOOCs). The role will be tasked with developing our online learning portfolio using an evidence-based approach, ensuring that our products are relevant to the proposed markets as well as identifying further opportunities for development and progression. This is a full-time, four-year fixed post based at our Lancaster campus, where hybrid on-site and home working is currently offered subject to line manager approval.
