We are seeking an experienced and caring veterinary professional to provide emergency care for animals during weekend day shifts. In this role, you will work closely with a team of dedicated individuals to deliver high-quality care to a variety of cases.
* Assess and manage medical and surgical emergencies, making timely clinical decisions and providing treatment as necessary.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care are met, maintaining a safe and supportive working environment.
* Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining treatment options and ensuring they are well-informed about their animal's care.
* Maintain accurate records of consultations and treatments, adhering to practice protocols and guidelines.
About You:
* You should be a qualified veterinary surgeon with experience in emergency and critical care, preferably within an out-of-hours setting.
* Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to manage complex cases independently.
