REQUIREMENTS Experience within a Bar environment. Previous experience of food and beverage desirable, preferably in a 4 star environment. A food service related SVQ (or equivalent) is beneficial but full training will be given. Experience of working with Micros systems desirable. Customer service experience is essential THE ROLE As a Bar Attendant your responsibilities will include: Setting up and serving food and beverage in the Bar areas. Creating cocktails, making coffee's and serving drinks to the guests. Consistently achieving the highest degree of service to our guests. Maximising sales and upselling. Ensuring tables and stations are correctly set up. Ensuring cutlery/glassware is kept clean and stock levels are maintained. Ensuring billing procedures and cash ups are applied correctly. Monitoring general security. THE PERSON In this role you must have excellent communication and organisation skills and have a high level of customer care and attention to detail. You must be able to work with the rest of the team as well as have the ability to act on your own initiative. You will be friendly and approachable; you will go the extra mile for our guests; you will provide highly consistent good service and you will lead by example.
