Closing Date 2024-10-14 HSSW Business Analyst Location: Hybrid working, Brighton – Falmer office Perm/FTC: 12 month FTC Hours: 37 hrs Salary: Up to £40k based on experience With AMP8 fast approaching for the Water industry, Southern Water are looking for a Business Analyst to support the Health, Safety Security and Wellbeing (HSSW) function within the company. Your role as a Business Analyst will be hands on one, investigating, analysing and mapping business and system processes to identify gaps and recommend efficiencies to understand the key operating drivers, designing KPIs, articulating user journeys and developing a range of reporting and analytics tools to help develop the understanding of leaders within the HSSW team. The key accountabilities you will have as a Business Analyst are: Enable effective management of project and change plans by; Analysing processes and systems. Providing process maps to highlight gaps and interdependencies. Developing User Journeys. Configure IT systems and processes to improve user journeys and better manage security and safety data. Support the creation of: Operating Models to effectively manage security risks. RACI responsibilities for security stakeholders Support the expansion of an improved Access Control System, including: Analysing “as is” and creating “to be” Safety and Security control processes and systems. Improving the process for ID/Access card control management. Integrating Safety and Security control processes to the Access Control System. Analyse, then create processes and procedures for Routine and emergency security communications An Incident Management, Risk Assessment and Risk Management system for SW colleagues and 3rd parties Managing Regional Mobile Security Patrol & Response Capability This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to work in close coordination with a wide array of internal stakeholders such as Digital, Procurement, Learning and Development (L&D), Facilities and Operational teams. You will have excellent numerical and analytical skills be able to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and prepare and present concise oral and written reports and recommendations. Any experience within the water, utility or security industry would be highly advantageous. As part of this role, you will be required to travel to our sites to meet with Stakeholders so a Full driving licence and own car is required.
