It’s an exciting time to be joining Halton We are looking for 5 passionate, nurturing and tenacious professionals to join our Edge of Care Team, ‘supporting our children and families staying together’. This will involve you responding to our children and families experiencing acute distress with a primary focus of reducing the likelihood of our children and young people entering Local Authority care. You will work flexibly and swiftly with children, young people and their families / carers, and any relevant agency to ensure risks are mitigated and our children are kept safe. This is a new service area, so you will be integral in developing this highly important role, within Halton, with the aim preventing children from entering into Local Authority care. You will receive a bespoke training package, 1:1 support, team learning and reflective group / supervision sessions.
