Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Barnsley area as they look to recruit an Assistant Finance Business Partner into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
1. Review Key Financial data of our live commercial projects ensuring accounting integrity is maintained at period ends
2. Prepare Cost Value Reviews (CVRs) for completed projects to ensure the commercial focus remains on live projects
3. Collate/Summarise information from multiple sites to give an overview analysis to finance and non-financial managers
4. Working with quantity surveyors to produce accurate forecast of weekly contract receipts for inclusion in the weekly cash flow forecast
5. Ensure accuracy of cash spreadsheet, including controls and monitoring forecast information
6. Challenge cash positions on contracts with commercial teams as necessary when reviewing payments
7. Work with the finance and commercial teams and manage the internal controls, processes and procedures
8. Working with finance and commercial teams support the timely completion of the annual insurance questionnaire from the company’s insurance broker
9. Implement and deliver improved all round performance, management information and support corporate goals
10. Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the business
11. To manage continuous improvement and take on other duties as required
12. Produce management accounts information as allocated to support budgets and forecasting
13. To develop good working relationships with budget holders, influencing and challenging as necessary
Requirements:
14. CIMA or ACCA qualification (or working towards)
