Requirements
You will have a Social Work Degree, CQSW, Dip SW, CSS (with appropriate option).
Responsibilities
You will work under the direction of the MASH Team Manager as part of the Multi Agency Screening Hub, which is part of Dundee’s Integrated Children’s Services; providing advice and guidance, leading and facilitating screening and assessment activities.
The Individual
You will have experience of working and communicating effectively with children and families. You will have experience of working and communicating effectively with children and families. You will have the ability to undertake initial and comprehensive risk assessments, to work to fixed timescales and to relate positively with colleagues and staff from other agencies, with commitment to promotion of positive outcomes for children and young people. You must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council within a specified timeframe. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
