PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing internal communications strategies that engage employees, support business transformation, and drive cultural change. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees understand and embrace the company’s vision, strategic North Star priorities, and transformation initiatives. The role will collaborate closely with senior leaders, HR, and key stakeholders to craft compelling narratives and communication plans that foster engagement and alignment across the organisation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop an internal comms strategy aligned with company objectives
* Writing internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and Executive messaging.
* Planning and executing company-wide town halls, leadership Q&A sessions, and employee engagement events.
* Managing and updating internal communication platforms and determining the right channels to use
* Conducting employee feedback surveys and analysing results to improve communication strategies.
* Developing change communication plans for organisational transformations that impact people, processes, and systems.
* Coordinating with the People and Leadership team to ensure alignment between communication efforts and business goals.
* Creating visual and multimedia content (videos, infographics, presentations) to enhance communication effectiveness.
* Supporting crisis communication efforts by drafting messages and coordinating rapid response strategies.
* Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of communication campaigns and making data-driven improvements.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Proven experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or change communications within a complex organisation.
* Strong ability to craft compelling and engaging content across multiple formats.
* Experience in managing communications for transformation and change programmes.
* Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong storytelling abilities.
* Experience using internal communication platforms and digital engagement tools.
* Strong analytical skills to measure and improve communication effectiveness.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
