Assistant Headteacher: Lead for Inclusion & Pastoral Care Job Start Date: September 2025 or sooner Salary: Leadership Scale Points 4 to L7, £53,602 - £57,831 per annum 32.5 hours per week This is an opportunity for a strong, experienced teacher and forward-thinking practitioner to join our fully inclusive school. The successful candidate will lead a committed, lively and successful team of staff in order to develop high quality provision and support for our SEND pupils, those in receipt of pupil premium funding, EAL pupils and pupils who may require pastoral support. This is complex and rewarding challenge, suitable for someone who has; energy, drive, positivity and enthusiasm superb communication and organisational skills the ability to successfully problem solve knowledge and experience of working with pupils with additional needs a commitment to working with families and the local community tried and tested positive behaviour management skills an ability to create a rapport with pupils and families who may require additional support evidence of successful middle and/or senior leadership in a primary school Candidates who have not completed a SENCO qualification will be required to undertake this at the first possible opportunity.
