EYFS Leader Responsibilities Lead and manage the EYFS team, promoting high standards of teaching and learning within the early years setting. Develop and implement a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum that meets the needs of all children. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing targeted feedback and interventions to support their development. Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning. Provide guidance and support to EYFS staff, promoting effective practices and continuous professional development. Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in their learning journey. Collaborate with other leaders and staff to drive school improvement and ensure a cohesive approach to early years education. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations. EYFS Leader Requirements ✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✔ Experience working in early years education, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. ✔ Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team of early years practitioners. ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ✔ A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences. ✔ Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all children.
