Role Summary
As a Sales Director for XTransfer in the UK, you will play a pivotal role in expanding XTransfer’s reach among SMEs involved in international trade. You’ll focus on identifying and building partnerships with UK-based SMEs, educating them on cross-border payment solutions, and establishing XTransfer as a trusted partner for global trade. The ideal candidate has a sales-driven mindset with significant experience in international trade and a passion for supporting SME growth globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development: Identify and qualify SME clients involved in international trade, generate leads, and convert prospects into customers to meet sales targets.
* Client Relationship Management: Build strong client relationships to understand and address cross-border payment needs, ensuring high client satisfaction.
* Market Strategy: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for XTransfer’s offerings in the UK, positioning the brand as a leader in cross-border payment services for SMEs.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and compliance teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics, maintaining an accurate record of the sales pipeline.
* Compliance Awareness: Stay updated on AML and trade compliance regulations, ensuring all sales activities align with these standards.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, or a related field.
* Experience: 5+ years in sales within fintech, financial services, or international trade sectors, with a successful record of meeting sales goals. Experience working with SMEs in import/export or international trade is highly preferred.
* Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cross-border payments, AML compliance, and SME challenges in the global market.
* Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex trade and payment concepts clearly. Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Language: Proficiency in Chinese is a plus, to facilitate communication with global teams and clients.
* Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving market demands.
