“ You end your work week knowing that you have made an incredible difference to families across east Kent. ”
Are you a registered nurse with experience in managerial leadership, looking to make a meaningful difference?
In this role, you’ll be pivotal in inspiring and motivating a team of nurses and healthcare assistants within our inpatient unit to deliver a high standard of specialist palliative care. You will create, lead and maintain a nursing culture which is open to change, new ideas, concepts and innovation whilst influencing Pilgrims strategy and direction. You will be responsible for improving the patient experience and safeguarding high standards of care by creating an environment in which excellence in clinical care can flourish and be measured.
In conjunction with the Hospice Services Manager, you will have responsibility for maintaining high standards in cleanliness, safety, and comfort, all in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines.
Whether managing your team, working with other multi-disciplinary services or delivering expert patient care, you’ll make a positive impact every day.
Support and Collaboration
You’ll have a Deputy Ward Sister, offering support and collaboration. This setup ensures the management of the ward can continue during annual leave, so you can return to work refreshed.
What We Offer
At Pilgrims, we provide a stable, supportive environment where every team member plays a part in delivering exceptional care. Despite the challenges facing healthcare providers, we’re financially secure, allowing us to invest in our people, infrastructure, and services.
If you’re a problem-solver with an eye for detail who enjoys leading teams and making a real difference, this could be the perfect role for you.
