Job Description
Create has entered Year Five of its ambitious seven-year strategy to double its reach and impact by its 25th anniversary in 2028. As the charity advances into this critical phase, we have been awarded a major (£320k) grant to support capacity building. This funding will facilitate the further implementation of Salesforce as the charity’s CRM, focusing on project management and finance functions, transforming efficiency and reducing administrative strain. The role includes creating the position of Technical Project Lead to oversee Salesforce implementation, increasing capacity in the finance team by appointing a Finance Manager, and implementing new cloud-based financial accounting software alongside Salesforce. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.
The Director of Finance & Operations will oversee and coordinate the financial, governance, HR, IT, and operational activities of the charity. The role involves ensuring these activities align with company policies and the Strategic Plan established by the Chief Executive and the Board of Trustees, and ensuring the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of planning, delivery, and reporting.
Salary: £46,000-£51,000 per annum, depending on experience.
