The post holder will provide a highly effective and supportive role to the Head of Corporate Governance and Board Secretary/Director of Corporate Governance in their leadership role to drive quality improvement and continued improvement, in compliance with statutory and mandatory requirements. The Headquarters facility offers agile flexible working, therefore the postholder will work remotely at home, with the requirement to come into HQ for team meetings and Board/executive meetings. Main duties of the job The Senior Corporate Governance manager is a key member of the Corporate Governance Team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Governance, the post holder will work closely with the Board, executive directors and various stakeholders. They will be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of corporate governance across SBU health board. The Senior Corporate Governance manager will support a portfolio of borad committees and management groups and will deputise for the Head of Corporate Governance as a required. This will involve the provision of outstanding secretariat support, including advising chairs, drafting reports from committees to the Board and ensuring committees are properly constituted.
