We are looking for someone with experience in supervisory/team leader roles.. experience in construction materials would be a huge advantage.
This job requires the right candidate to have an in date, accredited Counterbalance Forklift License with EXPERIENCE!
The Assistant Branch Manager's role is:
Assistant Branch Managers are hands-on, lead by example and support delivery of operational excellence and high branch standards Support Branch Manager to deliver and grow profitable branch sales Support Branch Manager with operational and financial responsibilities Support Branch Manager with management and delivery of the branch P&L Deputise for Branch Managers as required Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards and Branch sales targets are achieved Support the delivery of sales targets whilst developing and maintaining positive customer relationships Assist with the delivery of branch operations Provide support and leadership assistance to Branch colleagues as required Support the Branch Manager to ensure team complete actions and activities on time, and in full Ensure Branch team compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures Undertake stocktakes and audits Maintain maintenance records for Branch vehicles Conduct Branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing and merchanting
Our client are an established National supplier. Each depot manages it's own client base for their area.
This particular site is constructed of a small team of 5 people. Everyone helps each other and will do a variety of jobs to help the others where they can.
For example; your role as the Assistant Branch Manager may involve doing some work in the yard, on the forklift when your colleague is busy or not at work.
Work Details Monday to Friday (NO WEEKENDS)
6:30am - 4:00pm
Temp to Perm - 12weeks
Paid every Friday
Salary £31-34K
