Here at RS Pro Finishes Ltd we are an organisation specialising in the manufacture, supply and installation of surface treatment equipment to the global market. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service and building strong relationships with our customers and suppliers. We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as a Purchasing, Parts and Service Assistant.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This varied role primarily focuses on purchasing while also encompassing parts and services for our equipment. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of tasks, offering a great opportunity to learn and grow within the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide administrative support to management.
2. Manage stock levels and the purchasing of parts from our suppliers.
3. Source alternative competitive prices for parts we use and stock.
4. Maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers through effective communication.
5. Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
6. Oversee our Parts and Service email box and phone.
7. Raise quotes for parts and services.
8. Process purchase orders for parts from email or phone enquiries.
9. Invoicing using Sage One.
10. Pack parts for delivery and organise collections.
11. Arrange international deliveries, including commercial invoices and courier quotes.
12. Maintain and update internal databases and parts list.
13. Ensure accurate record-keeping for our customer database.
SYSTEMS USED
1. Sage One accounting software.
2. Spotler CRM.
3. Amazon Business.
4. Windows Office Word and Excel.
5. DHL online booking (domestic deliveries).
6. Parcel Monkey and Courier Point (international deliveries).
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 2 years working in an office environment or solid evidence that you possess relevant transferable skills.
2. A professional telephone manner and great communication skills as you will be the first contact for all parts and servicing enquiries as well as being required to accurately relay important information to managers.
3. Ability to successfully prioritise a busy workload.
4. Ability to compose professional emails, letters and documents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
