We have a brand-new position available for a Trainee Paint Sprayer to join an already successful company based near Woodhall Spa. Our client is an expert in their field and is currently expanding due to some fantastic growth seen over the past 12 months.
After the initial training, you will be working in the workshop and will be required to prepare, prime, and paint a wide range of bespoke wooden furniture to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious company that wants to invest in their staff members, offering training and development opportunities. After a successful training period, there may be opportunities to join our customer permanently.
What will I be expected to do?
1. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
2. Operate spray equipment applying coatings evenly and efficiently.
3. Maintain and clean spray equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling materials and operating equipment.
What skills do I need?
1. Experience in a manufacturing or painting is advantageous.
2. A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
3. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
4. Reliability, commitment, and excellent timekeeping.
What hours will I be working?
There are two shifts to choose from, these do not rotate so your shift times will remain the same:
1. Morning Shift - Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 3.30pm
2. Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday - 3.15pm to 10:45pm
How much will I be paid?
Morning Shift - £12.21ph (£488.40 per week) overtime paid at £17.16ph after 40 hrs.
Afternoon Shift - £13.07ph (£457.45 per week) overtime paid at £19.60 after 35 hrs.
