Description
As VAT Manager in the Bristol team, you will play a key role in delivering wide-ranging VAT solutions to the firm's client base. This includes providing commercial advice on complex VAT issues to OMBs through to large groups, corporate, and AIM-listed companies. You will actively identify opportunities for VAT services, promote them internally and externally, and manage the delivery of VAT planning projects, including negotiating with HMRC on VAT disputes. Other project work may cover company sales and acquisitions, including due diligence, review of sale and purchase agreements, and providing practical advice. Alongside delivering quality service to clients, you will manage and support a wider team and collaborate with directors on the further growth and development of the firm's VAT service lines.
Profile
You will ideally be qualified in ACA/ACCA/CTA and have specialized in VAT at the VAT Manager level. Your background may have been gained in any accountancy practice firm, from Top Tier to Mid Tier/Top 50 and independent firm environments. Alternatively, you may have a mixed career developed across accountancy practice, in-house VAT, or within HMRC specializing in VAT. You will be seeking a career move with the potential to progress and carve a key position within a growing, leading chartered accountancy practice.
Job Offer
