ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to continued expansion and confirmed workload, my client is recruiting permanently for a Remediation Project Manager. Reporting directly to the Southern Remediation Director, you will be responsible for managing the profitable delivery of remediation projects throughout southern region, supporting sites in and around London and the southwest. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely managing your time between home, site or the office bases as required.
As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the operations team to ensure objectives and scope are delivered including writing programmes and updating against progress; managing the technical and commercial aspects of the project; managing contract variations and communicating changes to the project team; supervising technical staff; liaising with the client; ensuring legislative compliance on projects and carrying out report writing to name just a few duties.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you should hold a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in contaminated land remediation, including experience in a contracting role and project management. Experience in earthworks and geotechnical engineering will also be considered.
Ideally, you will be degree qualified in a related discipline (Environmental Sciences or similar), have proven ability in producing high standard written reports and working knowledge of ICC, NEC and JCT forms of contract.
Due to projects being throughout the South East and South West, you must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel / work away from home when required (subsistence will be covered).

For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £60,000 – £65,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.
