Role Overview:
Details Lead to Success – this is the core value of GreatStar and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an established National Account Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing new and expanding existing business relationships.
You will be responsible for the onboarding and operational management of Key and National Accounts developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, establish brand visibility, and promote our products on a national scale to increase market share. You will adapt a collaborative approach with the sales and marketing teams through the UK and China, and develop cross-functional relations at all levels. Your main responsibility will be the creation of demand across the various brands under the GreatStar existing portfolio of products. Your ability to focus on the details by effectively managing key accounts and staying attuned to market trends will be critical to your success in this role.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services across the UK.
* Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
* Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
* Negotiate contracts and annual trading agreements.
* Plan, direct, & coordinate the actual distribution or movement of products to the customer.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients, whilst delivering sales aspirations.
* Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
* Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
* Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.
Required Skills:
* Have several years’ experience of Business Development & National Account Management experience in the Power & Hand tool market within the UK.
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
* Good contacts, relationships and application knowledge in the relevant market sectors.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Experience of using Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft D365.
* Strong written and verbal skills.
* Availability to travel as needed.
