Job Title: PC Field Service Technician
Location: Aldershot
Contract Duration: 31/03/2025 – 30/05/2025 (training) then on-site until end of the year
Pay Rate: £150 per day
Summary of Responsibilities:
* Queue Ticket Management: Manage tickets assigned to the Hub and surrounding spokes, ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain service levels as per contract.
* Hub Stock Management: Handle asset management of kit in/out, scanning items in/out of locations as per contract.
* Disposal Management: Effectively manage disposals that go through the Hub as per contract.
* Hardware Repairs: Triage and perform hardware repairs 'in Warranty kit' and liaise with vendors for parts and returns as per contract.
* Locker Replenishments: Replenish lockers where appropriate as per contract.
* Service Improvement: Highlight potential issues with service and suggest improvements to the Team Leader.
Essential Requirements:
* Must have SC clearance or be able to gain this.
* UK National with a UK passport.
* Must join the OOH rota and standby.
* Must have a full clean driving licence.
* 2+ years of experience in a PC field service environment or PC field workshop environment.
* Hardware skills: Diagnose, troubleshoot, support, and repair (including complex laptop break/fix repairs).
* Accredited or willing to undergo HP & Dell desktop and laptop training.
