We are looking for nurses with experience who can provide evidence of continuing professional development. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills and have a positive approach to team working. As a pivotal part of our team, you will be responsible for the provision of safe and effective harm-free care. A genuine interest in Outpatient Nursing is essential. Flexibility to work within Outpatient clinics in Clacton and Harwich is required.
We staff a variety of clinics from all specialties and have nurse-led clinics and assist with minor operation and diagnostic procedures. We also support the Jubilee infusion lounge which is part of our team; recent experience in this area would be of benefit.
A visit to the department prior to the interview is encouraged.
Hours of work are currently Monday to Friday. We are happy to consider applications from those wishing to work part-time hours.

Responsibilities:
* To meet the needs of the Trust with regard to induction, mandatory and statutory training.
* To work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide effective, high-quality individualized nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.
* To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
* To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team.
* To work within the Trust’s Competency Framework for Registered Nurses, the Ward/Department Philosophy, and the NMC Code of Conduct/Professional Standards for the Protection of Patients.
