The Role
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex engineering projects within our factory.
Working closely with our design and projects teams, you will help shape the manufacturing approach, ensuring seamless introduction into production.
From strategic procurement and process planning to practical shopfloor engagement, you’ll lead every stage of implementation, driving performance, overcoming challenges, and delivering outstanding results in quality, efficiency, and commercial return.
Additionally, you will:
- Produce and run detailed progress trackers for complex projects
- Manage ITPs
- Develop programmes for projects
About You
To be considered as an Engineering Manager, you will need:
- Experience leading and delivering engineering projects
- Experience in metal fabrication and reading engineering and fabrication drawings
- Experience with lean and quality management systems
- A high level of health & safety competence
- Strong commercial awareness
- The ability to negotiate under pressure
- Excellent planning skills and attention to detail
Although not essential, previous management experience in a similar role would be highly beneficial.
