Reporting in to the Senior Buyer, this is a permanent position with a fantastic organisation, offering competitive salary & excellent benefits In this role you will be responsible for: Managing MRP requirements to satisfy production schedules and implementation of appropriate recovery plans Receive Bills of Materials and carry out system checks on materials and services to be supplied to projects and shipping requirements. Negotiate with suppliers obtaining best price and lead times, resolving any supply chain issues Liaise with customers/ suppliers to respond to routine queries regarding contract and supply chain issues. Provides input to project meetings to answer questions concerning contract/supply chain matters. Monitoring and measuring process performance producing regular and accurate management information/reports as required. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role as a Buyer, ideally procurement experience within manufacturing. You must have experience of suppliers KPIs and performance management and be able to build strong relationships with suppliers.
