SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Jotun Customer Service Supply Chain Team works with colleagues around the world to ensure smooth supply of Jotun Paints and Coatings to our customers globally.
The successful applicants will liaise with team members across all Jotun departments and with external transport suppliers to manage deliveries to factories, warehouses, freight forwarders and marine vessels.
You will work as part of a close knit team, spanning four countries, arranging deliveries by road, sea and air from Jotun sites throughout Europe.
You will have an eye for detail, be able to prioritise workload, work independently and demonstrate strong customer service skills.
We are looking to fill two 12 month fixed term positions.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
1. Execute customer orders by processing and coordinating closely among the operations departments for order processing and delivery flow to ensure excellent and efficient customer service.
2. Perform invoicing of Customers' orders accurately and efficiently and respect local laws and Jotun procedures.
3. Coordinate the activities within the Customer Service Department, assuring that the Customer orders are processed promptly and efficiently, promoting lean solutions and best practices.
4. Follow up on Customers' complaints to ensure they are dealt with promptly and efficiently by issuing investigation tasks followed by conclusion input and raising requests for return notes and credit notes where required.
5. Actively handle customers' inquiries through e-mail, telephone, or face-to-face in a timely and professional manner to provide high-quality customer service.
6. Handle customer complaints effectively by quickly understanding the issue and coming up with sound solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
7. Verify, enter, and review system prices accurately with the customer's purchase orders and sales orders.
8. Communicate with sales and customers to verify all details are correct and clear up any missing information or inconsistencies on orders.
9. Monitor daily follow-up of orders and change dates if applicable to achieve correct backlog and OTIF.
10. Handle approved Sales Returns with appropriate charge information and create credit notes when required.
