Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Business Partner are to:
1. Provide support and guidance on the operation of the financial systems, cash flow, and monthly management account reporting.
2. Provide advice and guidance via telephone and scheduled on-site visits to organisations in the efficient operations of the finance systems, standards, regulations, and initiatives.
3. Provide advice and guidance on the businesses budgetary and financial control procedures, national/local standards, regulations, and initiatives.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, profiling of income/expenditure, and proactively review resources and spending priorities to ensure the organisation's development plan reflects budget planning. Review, update, and report upon the annual and multi-year budget plans.
5. Assist in developing strategies and tools for the effective delivery of the organisation's financial management support.
6. Utilise your skills to contribute to efficient and effective working practices, ensuring maximisation of funds available to support the delivery of education.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Finance Business Partner will have:
1. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost control.
2. Proficiency in accounting software and data analysis tools.
3. Excellent communication skills for non-financial stakeholders.
4. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
