We’re looking for an Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance Manager to lead our Data Quality and Data Governance teams. In this role you will help save lives at sea by ensuring that the data and technology that the RNLI uses to run its operations and fundraising enables us to make the best possible decisions and supports our volunteers to fundraise, educate; and, ultimately, to save everyone. Your Role The RNLI is on a multi-year maturity journey to manage our applications and business architecture, and our data and information, to best effect. This role of Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance Manager is about defining and delivering a clear strategy that drives an approach to technical governance across applications and data, that is grounded in business strategy, business architecture thinking, and constantly keeping the user/volunteer in focus. In this role you will Focus on evolving and embedding an enterprise architecture, governance framework encompassing applications and information. Set and manage achievable and evolving principles, policies, standards and practices to achieve quality solutions for our users and protection at reasonable cost across our estate, including influencing our supporting our organisational target operating model. About You You are likely to be someone who wants to work in a value-led environment, have a passion for the power of good data management and the impact of good architectural governance, and want to share and develop that passion in others at every level of an organisation. To be our Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance Manager you will need experience of: Architecture, Data Governance and exposure to DAMA methodology. Managing and embedding value-led governance mechanisms. Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design.
