Job summary IQGeo is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support our efforts for high-quality deployments of our software solutions for domestic and international enterprise customers. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is based in Belgium or United Kingdom to support our growing European customer base. As an integral part of the IQGeo Technical Implementation services team, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an Agile environment across multiple customer implementations and will contribute to the overall quality of our delivered software solutions and of our internal quality processes. Key responsibilities include the following: Ensure the appropriate level of quality is incorporated into our customer implementations and customisations. Crafting Test artifacts including Test Strategy, Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports. Collaborate with the Product Owner to analyze, review and clarify the created user stories (business requirements), and define acceptance criteria Collaborate with the Development team to translate the business requirements into test cases and test scripts and integrate these into efficient test plans Implement automated tests where deemed necessary and effective Test enterprise level software through all phases of the test lifecycle Assist customer(s) with UAT planning as needed Maintain and communicate QA metrics to internal and customer partners via status/metrics reports Interact, communicate, and follow through with development & customer teams throughout testing phase Essential skills Strong understanding of SQA methodologies. Understanding of test automation framework design models and standard methodologies Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects Experience in enterprise level software deployments Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Desirable skills: Experience working with Geospatial Information Systems or web mapping software. Experience with utility or telecoms industries. Education and Experience: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience with Test Automation. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably within Scrum and Agile Software development teams. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
